‘Edge of Darkness’ actress Yekta Nasser joins hubby flick

‘Edge of Darkness’ actress Yekta Nasser has joined the cast of new Iranian film ‘Rahman 1400’ at the helm of her husband.

The flick which changed name from ‘Moss’ will have the actress on the cast list alongside names such as Sareh Bayat, Bahram Afshari and Saeed Aghakhani.

Manouchehr Hadi will lead the film in which his wife Nasser appears.

Nasser has received a Crystal Simorgh for Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the 30th Fajr International Film Festival for her performance in 'Someone Wants to Talk to You'.

She has appeared in several TV series such as 'Stay with Me', 'The First Night of Peace', 'The Daughters of Eve' and 'The Old Road'.

The actress has also taken part in various movies, including 'Murder Online' (2005), 'Someone Wants to Talk to You' (2011) and 'I Am Not Salvador' (2015).

‘Rahman 1400’ is in its preparatory stages, including the selection of actors, and is scheduled to cast a large number of artists.

The film will be released shortly after its preparatory stages are completed and all its scenes will be filmed in Tehran.
